The largest single-aperture telescope ever built until FAST. Featured in the James Bond film GoldenEye and the movie Contact. The SETI message was beamed from here in 1974. Discovered the first binary pulsar, first extrasolar planets, and mapped Venus. Collapsed in 2020 after cable failures.
