About Simons Observatory
A cosmic microwave background project at 5,200 m on Cerro Toco in the Atacama. Small-aperture telescopes hunt for the swirl of primordial gravitational waves. A 6 m class telescope will map CMB lensing across huge swaths of sky. Funded largely by the Simons Foundation.
