About MAGIC Telescopes

Two Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescopes on La Palma at 2,200 m. Catch flashes of blue light from air showers to detect gamma rays from the ground. In 2019 measured gamma rays from a gamma-ray burst at energies never seen before. Also study pulsars and active galactic nuclei.
